World AIDS Day takes place on December 1st each year. It’s an opportunity for people worldwide to unite in the fight against HIV, to show support for people living with HIV, and to commemorate those who have died from an AIDS-related illness.
This year, ACCM is proud to be participating in multiple World AIDS Day events with organizations across the city!

The Concordia University Community Lecture Series on HIV/AIDS presents “What’s Lost? What’s Left? What’s Possible? Resiliency in the Early Years of HIV/AIDS Community Organizing” with Yvette Perreault (Executive Director, AIDS Bereavement and Resiliency Program of Ontario), who will be offering a first-person experience of working in the AIDS trenches in the ‘80s & early ‘90s.
