Dear ACCM community,
ACCM takes pride in thirty-five years of work cultivating spaces that are free from the stigma and discrimination faced by people living with HIV. To achieve this means ensuring that our Drop-In Centre, offices, events and digital spaces are safe. The safety of all our Members, staff, volunteers, partners, and guests in our spaces is vital.
The Board of Directors of ACCM would like to reiterate that no harassment, threats, intimidation, or violent behaviour will be tolerated at ACCM. Everyone present in our spaces is to abide by the House Rules where respect for others is paramount. Threatening, harassing, violent or abusive behaviour is grounds for immediate expulsion from the space by staff and, pending investigation, removal as an ACCM Member by the Board.

Our community has always faced enormous challenges. In recent years, ACCM’s spaces have needed to increasingly serve as a haven amid escalating housing and affordability crises, growing hate toward 2SLGBTQ+ people, and so much more. We reiterate our commitment to the safety of every individual in our spaces, and zero tolerance for threats and violence.
