Our Queer and Trans Outreach (QTO) Coordinator offers active listening and peer support for our members on topics related to gender and sexual orientation, whether that’s coming out, questioning your identity or gender transition-related support. They can help with understanding gender marker and name change forms in Quebec, explaining the process of accessing hormone replacement therapy (HRT) and gender-related surgery as well as help with accessing safer sex and gender affirmative products at no cost. They also offer accompaniment to medical appointments, including STI testing, accessing PEP & PrEP, abortions, and HRT-related appointments to the wider queer and trans community.
Our Queer and Trans Outreach Coordinator can also help the wider queer and trans community with resource referrals. Our Montreal Trans Resources List by ACCM is available here.
We also offer educational workshops in-house at ACCM as well as in medical and community settings. Please get in touch if you are interested in one of our training sessions.
