My Life with HIV

My Life with HIV is a series of six three-hour workshops for people who have been newly diagnosed HIV-positive and are seeking guidance navigating antiretroviral medications. In addition to comprehensive treatment information, these workshops also address readiness to begin treatment, treatment adherence, information on drug resistance, and how to register insurance claims. The program is designed so that participants become trained educators and are able to share what they’ve learned with other people after the workshop is completed. This not only increases My Life with HIV’s reach but also helps participants build a broader treatment support community for themselves and their peers.

The My Life With HIV program can be attended as part of a group or in one-on-one meetings. It’s facilitated by organizations across Canada and all the necessary guides and handbooks are available here:
