PARCours: 30-day fundraiser for another 30 years of AIDS Community Care Montreal

Uncategorized

We need your help to raise funds for HIV prevention, education and support!

PARCours is the year’s most important opportunity for us to gather the vital finances we rely on to provide our life-saving programs.

This October 1st community organizations will be coming together to address our mutual needs by holding a walk and creating a human chain in Laurier Park, symbolizing the AIDS ribbon. This will provide a chance for us to celebrate our communities’ achievements and also create a focal point for our collective fundraising efforts.

Last year ACCM was the #1 fundraising team at Montreal’s annual AIDS walk and we depend on this income to remain in operation. Due to perpetual funding cutbacks, individual donations are crucial for us to continue our work, which includes:

  • innovative prevention programs like SextEd, a sex education texting helpline for youth
  • essential support services like Buyers Club, a monthly food cooperative that helps people living with HIV access healthy and affordable groceries.
  • plus so much more…

ACCM is Quebec’s only English-language community organization that provides services for people living with HIV and we coordinate sex education projects that help youth build the confidence to overcome shame and make informed decisions regarding their sexual health.

This is an exciting time at ACCM with a fresh outlook and an ambitious drive to nurture our city’s well-being. With continued dedication and commitment we can almost begin to envision a future where HIV is eradicated, however we won’t arrive at that goal unless we persevere to the very end.

We have the power to end HIV if we all work together and you can take part in this monumental achievement by making a donation to ACCM’s PARCours campaign or by joining our team and fundraising with us. Just follow the link below and click on “Donate Now” or “Join as an Individual”:
