ACCM is thrilled to announce the launch of Jeunes Queer Youth (JQY), a sexual health program by and for queer, trans and allied youth in Montreal!
JQY is a unique program run by an alliance of five Montreal community organizations: ACCM, Action Santé Travesti(e)s et Transsexuel(le)s du Québec (ASTT(e)Q), the Montreal Coalition of LGBT Youth Groups, Project 10 and Rézo.
ACCM is proud to be part of this new five year program funded by the Public Health Agency of Canada that provides funds and support to queer and trans youth leaders, empowering them with the tools they need to realize their own sex ed initiatives. JQY also organizes two leadership summits per year where youth can network, share their projects, and receive sex ed workshops specific to queer and trans sexual health.
On October 10th, JQY will launch their new program with a special event in which youth and youth workers will have the chance to learn about the JQY program, how to propose a project, and how to participate in future youth summits.
