ACCM’s Fall Volunteer Orientation is happening on Saturday October 14th – Sunday October 15th from 10AM – 6PM!
What is a Volunteer Orientation?
The Volunteer Orientation happens twice per year (Spring and Fall) at ACCM. It is a training event with workshops and activities to help prepare volunteers for their roles at ACCM. It’s a great way to build useful life skills, connect with other volunteers and staff, and get to know the drop-in space.
Note: All volunteers are expected to complete one Volunteer Orientation session at some point in there time with ACCM.
Workshops: Intro to ACCM, HIV 101 + 201, Hepatitis C, Confidentiality & Harm Reduction, Active Listening, Trans Realities, Anti-Oppression + Member Testimonials!
These workshops are open to any volunteers (new or past) as well as members, staff, and board members. Free lunch will be provided by ACCM on both days.
