Koa will be directing a Discussion on self-care, self-love & RESPECT:
Self-love means that you accept yourself fully, treat yourself with kindness and respect, and nurture your growth and wellbeing.
Self-care encompasses not only how you treat yourself but also your thoughts and feelings about yourself. So, when you conceptualize self-care, you can try to imagine what you would do for yourself, how you’d talk to yourself, and how you’d feel about yourself that reflects love and concern.
Respect focuses on:
- Being kind and courteous.
- Being polite, avoiding interrupting or causing disturbances.
- Listening to others and respecting differences in beliefs and opinions.
- Thinking before you speak, your language and tone.
- Lending a helping hand or ear and practicing compassion.
