ACCM is Closed for Restructuring

ACCM, ACCM Statements

At a time when most organizations are focused on attracting new talent, ACCM is facing several cycle fluctuations, recovering from unexpected events, such as the pandemic and opioid crisis. It falls on  the upper Management Team and Board of Directors to provide the leadership to ensure that ACCM is fulfilling its mandate, and  has the right programs & services in place, the right persons in the right positions, and pursuing a GIPA/MEPA strategy to achieve our goals. To this end, we are announcing that ACCM is closed to complete an operational restructuring.

Forward-thinking HIV agencies approach restructuring with a serious mindset, recognizing the dynamic factors at play. These factors encompass shifts in funding, changes in public health priorities, evolving needs within the affected communities, advancements in medical treatments, and the broader socio-economic and political influences shaping the HIV landscape. HIV agencies  make the tough decisions to re-imagine, re-define and  re-structure when current organizational models are not in tune with what members are facing. Here are the areas of the organization that are not affected.

Should you have any questions or concerns about the drop-in center repairs and/or the restructuring process, please share them here:

We know this time of uncertainty might be causing a lot of distress to our Members and in the community. We did not make these decisions lightly. Our goal and commitment is to come back stronger and to better support our Members in the future.
